The TaxCreditResources.org web site is owned and operated by Community Resources Information, Inc. (CRI), a private charitable nonprofit organization, which is not affiliated with any government agency. This section outlines the terms and conditions of use of the TaxCreditResources.org Tax Advisor Network (TAN), an Internet connection for people involved in helping others with their tax returns, especially regarding tax credits that persons with low income can claim. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, please do not register to use the Tax Advisor Network. Failure to comply with any of these terms and conditions may result in loss of privilege to use this service.

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions of use at any time. Please review them periodically. By continuing to use the TAN, you agree to the terms and conditions of use that are in effect at the time.

Tax Advisor Directory

By registering to use the Tax Advisor Network, you agree to have the registration information you submit (e.g., your name, Username, professional address, phone number, and e-mail) listed in the Tax Advisor Directory. You are responsible for the accuracy of this information.
If you discontinue your subscription to the Tax Advisor Network and no longer wish to have your name in the Tax Advisor Directory, please notify us by e-mail: taxadvisornetwork@communityresourcesinfo.org.

Message Board

You agree to use this message board for professional purposes and in a professional manner.
You agree not to post confidential information of any kind on the message board, including identifying information about clients.
You agree not to post information or questions that would be harmful or embarrassing to others, including other users of the Tax Advisor Network.
You agree that the web site administrators may monitor information posted on the message board and may delete any messages or replies that are deemed inappropriate. CRI reserves the right to have sole discretion over what is considered an inappropriate posting to the message board.

Document Archive

You agree to upload only professionally related documents and files to this document archive. You may upload documents that are only relevant within your professional organization, provided you have permission to do so from your organization.
You agree not to upload and store documents containing any kind of confidential information, including identifying information about clients.
You understand that any documents/files that you upload and store in this document archive system can be viewed and downloaded by other users of the Tax Advisor Network and by the web site administrators. This is the primary purpose of this feature. If you are not comfortable sharing documents with others or having others view them, then do not store them on this web site.
You agree not to upload picture or music files (e.g., jpg and mp3 files) to the document archive.
You agree not to store documents that contain material that is in any way harmful or embarrassing to other individuals or organizations.
You understand that the web site administrators will review documents that you upload to the web site and may choose to delete any from the document archive if deemed inappropriate. CRI reserves the right to have sole discretion over what is considered an inappropriate document for uploading to the archive.
In storing any documents on this web site that belong to or directly pertain to the organization that employees you, you acknowledge that your superiors have given you permission to do so. Again, any documents that are not for public viewing/sharing should not be stored on this web site.

Online Discussion

You agree to use the online discussion for professional purposes and in a professional manner.
You agree not to disclose confidential information of any kind when taking part in online discussions, including identifying information about clients.
You agree not to discuss information or ask questions that would be harmful or embarrassing to others, including other users of the Tax Advisor Network.
You understand that other registered users logged into the online discussion will be able to see all text you enter during the discussion unless you are in "whisper" mode. If you intend to have a confidential conversation with another person(s), do not use the online discussion.
You acknowledge that the web site administrators may monitor the online discussion and may terminate a user’s right to access the online discussion feature of the Tax Advisor Network if this is deemed necessary. CRI reserves the right to have sole discretion over what is considered inappropriate or disruptive during online discussions.

Single User Restriction

You agree that you will be the sole user of your Tax Advisor Network account. In other words, other individuals may not log into the Tax Advisor Network with your Username and password.

Subscription Cost

Subscriptions to the Tax Advisor Network are free for anyone involved in helping others prepare their tax returns.

Indemnity

In using the Tax Advisor Network, you agree to indemnify and hold CRI and its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use (or the use by others) of the content or features contained anywhere on this web site.

Modification to Service

CRI reserves the right to modify the Tax Advisor Network at any time and to discontinue, either temporarily or permanently, this service.
